Current Opening: Senior or Junior Immigration Paralegal / Case Manager
Small boutique immigration law firm in San Jose seeking a highly organized immigration paralegal to manage cases from intake through filing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file immigration applications, including:
- Asylum
- U-Visa
- VAWA
- Removal defense filings
- Family petitions
- Naturalization
- Waiver applications
- Draft declarations and client statements
- Prepare USCIS and EOIR filings
- Track deadlines and RFE responses
- Communicate with clients and collect supporting evidence
- Manage case files from intake through adjudication
- Assist the attorney with legal research and case strategy
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of immigration experience
- Strong writing ability (declarations, cover letters)
- Familiarity with USCIS forms and filing procedures
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage 60 active cases
- Bilingual preferred in Spanish
Compensation
Compensation is based on experience with 401 (k) and health insurance benefits offered after the probationary period.
