Yemi is very personable, patient, and non-judgmental. I explained my needs during the initial interview and she kept the mood light and allowed me to express my concerns and questions without interruption. She even advised me that I may not need her services, and offered to show me how to file my paperwork by myself. I was thankful for the offer, but did choose to continue with her services for added support.
Yemi's office is great with communication and I was alerted immediately when there were changes in the status of my application. I never once felt disconnected or worried that I had been forgotten.
If the need ever arises again, I will definitely be coming back to Yemi.

Medya is truly an amazing lawyer. She really takes care of all the details. She helped thoroughly throughout my Wava case. She made sure to take her time and make sure she gets all the details from the client and connect me with good therapist to really help me and get the details for my case. Yemi Getachew! Well where can I start?
I had the pleasure of being recommended to Yemi Getachew by multiple Eritrean/Ethiopian people, who had the opportunity of being her clients once. I was in a desperate situation where i have been given a 30 day final notice to appeal my declined self petition to court. I didn't have a lawyer at that time, however i had gotten advice from a lawyer which led me to even a worser situation. I was desperate and hopeless. So a few days later after i finally got the chance to meet Yemi in her office, I walked out with some hope. It was a strong case. She was forward with me, told me it was going to be hard and that its not guaranteed to win but we will do our best. People told me she was the best immigration lawyer, I didn't believe it until I got the chance to work with her. She managed to help me with my asylum case in a very short limited time! She starts out being rough and very forward but only for your own benefit! She will be with you throughout the entire time holding your hands and won't give up until she wins the case! I really didn't think i was going to win, but a month later I was granted asylum with the help of Yemi! I heard she has yet to lose a case!.. I am surprised she doesn't have alotta reviews on yelp but than it made sense, Its cause all her clients are non-english speakers that are not familiar with yelp or any other app yet! They are just desperate for help from terrible situation. I would honestly say its been a GREAT PLEASURE WORKING WITH HER! She has changed my life.and I would recommended her to everybodyyyyyyy in desperate situations.. Shes the best immigration lawyer out here!!! And i hope she continues to change peoples lives!
