How to Immigrate from Mexico to the United States
There are many ways that people come to the United States from Mexico. Here are common reasons and ways that people immigrate:
Family-based and marriage immigration
Close relatives of U.S. citizens and permanent residents may join their family members in the United States. Immediate relative visas are unlimited – anyone who meets the qualifications may come. In addition, other relatives may qualify for family preference visas.

Renewing or adjusting your status
Conditional permanent resident status is good for two years, after which you must apply to remove the condition to obtain the ten year green card. Most permanent resident status authorizations must be renewed every ten years. You may need to renew your status or adjust it.

Citizenship
